Navajo
The Center for Language Studies will offer beginning Navajo courses during Fall and Winter Semesters if a qualified teacher and sufficient student interest can be found. The Humanities Technology Research Support Center also offers a FLATS proficiency exam in Navajo.

Niuean
Niuean is a Polynesian language originating from Niue Island. Although BYU does not currently offer courses in Niuean, the Center for Language Studies will schedule courses in Niuean if a qualified teacher and sufficient student interest can be found.

ICLND 429, a course in Old Norse literature, is offered at BYU through the Department of Humanities, Classics, and Comparative Literature in connection with the Scandinavian Studies Program.

Norwegian courses are taught at BYU through the Department of Humanities, Classics, and Comparative Literature in connection with the Scandinavian Studies Minor Program.
