Written Proficiency Test (WPT)

The Written Proficiency Test (WPT) is a 90-minute assessment that measures an individual’s writing ability in their target language. The test is administered in either written or computer format. The WPT is graded according to the ACTFL proficiency guidelines.

OPI rating scale from lowest to highest: Novice low, Novice mid, Novice high, Intermediate low, Intermediate mid, Intermediate high, Advanced low, Advanced mid, Advanced high, Superior.
