The College of Humanities Language Immersion Student Residence Program (LISR) aims to develop confident and proficient world language speakers who are linguistically and spiritually prepared to make significant contributions in the world.
The LISR Program is a unique language experience in which students who have reached at least an Intermediate-level of speaking proficiency in the same target language live together while pursuing their regular class schedules.
Join hundreds of other BYU students who have discovered a fun way to make friends, improve language proficiency, and step into another culture without having to leave campus.

102: German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish

202: Japanese, Korean
Applications for Spring, Summer, and Fall/Winter open February of that current year. Applications for "Winter only" open in October.

The LISR designated dorm is located at the northeastern corner of campus just beyond Wymount Terrace.
